Steve Bohill-Smith vacillated a recce of our operational area, near the cafe, where Pedal Planes and the Tomahawk Sim will be operating all day. Lady Carnarvon welcomed us with a cuppa and talked of the progress they’ve made discovering the wartime aircraft crashes on the higher ground on the estate. A Whitley, Lysander, Mustang and P38 Lightnings were just a few that didn’t clear the 900ft tree line inbound to Greenham Common, perhaps.
