Pre Season Check

Hello JOYSTICKERS, www.joystickclub.co.uk

6 of us got together today and worked on the Pedal Planes and Tomahawk.

Cleaning and repainting damaged areas and adjusting the SE5's prop. drive.

Obviously time was allowed for buns and the occasional cuppa!

Several improvements to the Tomahawk which now has a new flap lever courtesy of David Goddard and a vacuum gauge . Elevator trim and foot brakes are being looked into after Steve Elkin got under the panel for investigation.

Martyn Looker and I made a set of chocks for each PP after lunch and we left Terry Miller to take them home to finish the fine rope splicing ( must be a sailor!) and a coat of paint.

We're meeting again next Thursday to finish off and check over the caravan.

Volunteers for our Hughendon visit are increasing , looks like we'll be setting up there on the Monday at 1000.
