Hughenden

Good morning Joystickers!

We've just returned from a great week at Hughenden Manor with our Kit.

Even though the area was not ideal for pedal planes and access across some muddy areas was difficult we had tremendous support from the National Trust volunteers and all the Mums, Dads and Grandparents who queued patiently for long periods to treat their youngsters to a circuit of EGLM in out Tomahawk cockpit.

The weather was beautifully sunny in the Orchard, amazing for Feb.!

We collected a goodly amount, just enough to buy the volunteers some liquid refreshment....see you all Monday!

Fun in the sun!

Of course we had several Enquiries about going to schools and events and the first to come back is a "Summer fete and vintage car show" on NT land at West Wycombe Sat. July 9th, another chance to introduce youngsters to aeroplanes and have a good time ourselves...volunteers?

On Monday we have Jim Davies coming to talk about the history of BA from its earliest times .

He's one of the volunteers at BA Heritage Centre at The Waterside HQ and promises not to talk about Tridents as he's ex BOAC. yawn, but should be a good evening.

Any ex airline colleagues bring them along.

Several good videos to start after 1800 with the usual finger biting and fumbling PowerPoint at 1930.

Toodle loo

M

everything's yellow in the garden!
