Minis, Naphill and NEXT events

Morning JOYSTICKERS,

BEFORE PUTTING THE BUNTING OUT AND KAGOOLS ON, A ROUND UP OF THE WEEK...

The MINI Plant tour on Thursday, organised by Goff Moore for the second time, was outstanding. 900 robots all spot welding bits together gradually building up to mini bodies that the Associates (new term for the workers) could complete and then the cars were driven out to test.

Yesterday we had a very good day amongst RAF families and locals at the "Naphill Fest".

Mike Diggins took a couple of pedal planes up and Mike Potts and I towed the Tomahawk with 3 more PP's . We had the use of the car park which was ideal for the "self pedallers " although we had to compete with the police car siren being demonstrated.....quite often!

We were next to free tea and coffee and mains power for the Sim. Almost forgot to mention the Ghurka's Curry and the Beer tent just behind the ambulance!

Thanks to Dave Scott and Martyn Looker, always ready to help and good to be amongst the RAF.

The other pics are of our site at West Wycombe park for their Fayre on 9th July and

Aerobilities setup at Blackbushe where we'll be involved with our Kit in their big pull event on 30th July.

Still have tickets £10 (under 10's free) for McAlpines steam museum and train rides on 10th July!

VOLUNTEERS FOR A SHORT AFTERNOON AT DANESFIELD SCHOOL nr Marlow next Sat 1200?

Have a great day,

Cheers

M

Dahlias and Peony's doing well
