Lull before the rain

A very good day at WLAC Members Day on Saturday (John Downey’s pic) with many old and new friends to chat to,

not forgetting all those who enjoyed the Pedal Planes and Tomahawk simulator!

We took nearly £75 which has been passed to WLAC for their charities of Air Ambulance and RAF Benevolent Fund.

Had an invite to join with the RAF Northolt Families Day 2017 but date to be arranged .

An offer of a trailer from one of our members to mount the new Seneca cockpit to , and with several professional simulator builders on hand and willing to give advice and help in the future....brilliant.

With ideas for a tricycle Typhoon/Red Arrows Hawk or even a Gannet PP there’ll be lots to keep the winter months at bay!

The PP’s and Caravan were used hard recently and will need a quick Autumn refurb before storing for the winter.

After Brooklands Aviation Day on the 25th , we’ll hope to do that at my place on the

next day 26th?

I heard the Mossie talk with Chris Royle was very well supported and our talks start the 26th please check Mike Ashfield’s run "JSC website" for details.

Only 20 firm tickets booked for OCTOBER 8th and only one month to go!

Were thinking of a pasta type meal for this evening and there will be a great line up of entertainers for a really modest £25!

Check those diaries, off to stir up the Northerners, back in 2 weeks but always on email/mob. if the Scots haven’t pulled the plug by then!
