Proudly welcoming the Sea Harrier
We're pleased to share the news that our Sea Harrier 'jump jet' has been safely delivered to the historic hangar 16S, where she will go on display as part of the Aerospace Bristol exhibition this summer.
The challenging task of transporting the aircraft across the Filton airfield to the new museum site was all thanks to No 27 Sqn RAF Odiham and the RAF Joint Air Delivery Test and Evaluation Unit (JADTEU) who spectacularly airlifted the 'jump jet' with a Chinook helicopter, as part of a training exercise.
